Last night I dreamt that I was at a huge kite-flying party. Today I was scouring the internet to see if any event of that nature was scheduled, but I found nothing (just missed the last one by a week). HOWEVER! I did find a Flickr account belonging to a Sir MNKiteman.

MNkiteman is a dude who takes amazing bird's-eye-view photos from a kite! Check out his photostream!

I remember when I used to live in Jaipur climbing up the cliffs next to the community I was living to the top, where there was a fort that you could sit on the walls of. From the walls you could see the entire city of 3 million, and I distinctly remember looking down watching the playful flickering of hundreds of kites across the entire city.

I wish I had my own photo of it, but this will have to suffice.
